1805 Custom Campaign Installation Instructions

There are two different versions of the .ged and .tpj data files provided. The default version has only France at war with Great Britain, which may be more popular for multiplayer PBEM games. The alternate version has France allied with neutral Spain and at war with the Third Coalition (Austria, Great Britain and Russia, allied amongst themselves and Russia having voluntary access to Austria), which may be more popular for solitaire games.

1. Copy the eianw013.ged scenario file into your Empires in Arms \Data\databases directory. NOTE: This file may need to be renamed first to eianw###.ged, where ### is 011 or higher, to not overwrite your local file of the same number.

2. Copy the eianw013.tpj tables project file into your Empires in Arms \Data\tables directory. NOTE: Again, this file may need to be renamed first as above, but ensure both files have the same number.

3. Copy the remaining NnCustom Campaign 1805- and AINnCustom Campaign 1805- setup files into your Empires in Arms \Setups directory. NOTE: If "Custom Campaign 1805-" is not a unique scenario name, do not copy these files yet and overwrite your local files. Instead, use the editor to rename the custom campaign, and then rename the setup files accordingly before copying them into the \Setups directory.

4. The 1805 Custom Campaign should now be playable from the New Game Screen.

5. The 1805 Custom Campaign Notes is a word document that provides a comparison of classic EiA, EiH v4.0, and EiANW Orders of Battle and Setups, with comments provided in italics to indicate changes made from the standard EiANW setup for this custom campaign.
